
JOBS AND WORK
Lords were given land in which they would rule , In return for the land given to the Lord by The King , He Had to promise that he would supply the King with Knights for his army and he would obey and serve The King at his command , This was called paying homage.
A LORD'S DAY
The Lords would usually wake up around dawn and say their prayers. Breakfast would follow. After that, they would attend business meetings relating to their lands.
Lords would wake up at dawn they then would say prayers. After this they would eat breakfast .They then would attend bussiness meetings that related to their land. He would hear reports about his crops, harvests,supplies, taxes and rent. Then he would settle disputes or complaints from peasants.The day would also incude political discussions or decisions.
Lords could earn money from collecting taxes from peasants and Serfs ( Farmers who provided their master with their crops.)
The only work Lords really had to do was to manage their Manor.
Lords lived a comfortable life with a fair amount of money and minimal work.


THE LOWER CLASSES
The Farmer:
Produced crops for himself and the Lord
The Jester:
The royal entertainer, also known as the Fool
The Knight:
Served his Lord and the King in battles and wars
The Servant:
Worked in the castle doing household chores
The Ballif:
The person who undertook management of the Manor
