ENTERTAINMENT IN THE MIDDLE AGES

LEISURE ACTIVITIES

Leisure activits in the Middle Ages included many things, but the activites the people had access to largely depended on their social status. For a lord, leisure activites often included activities such as feasts, banquets, jousts, tournaments, fairs, plays, games, sports, hunting and animal entertainment using dogs, bears and monkeys.

SOCIAL LIVES

The people that the people of the Middle Ages interacted with were purely based on their social classes. The Medieval Times were governed by the Feudal System. This was a system for organising how land would be used and for controlling the people in the Middle Ages.
